The G20 crew is here to regulate

Regleringar och stimulanser, det verkar vara universalmedicinen mot den globala krisen. Åtminstone om man får tro våra världens top dogs som nu sammanstrålar i London. Av någon outgrundlig anledning har G20-mötet stimulerat mig till att gå omkring och nynna på Warren G:s gamla g-funkdänga Regulate i flera dagar.

Så mycket har det nynnats att det blev en ny text. Så härmed inbjudes ledarbloggens läsare till rapkaraoke på temat G20. Det är bara att dra igång Youtubeklippet och ta ton om Merkel, Obama, Sarkozy med flera.

But you can’t be any geek world leader,

Gotta be handy with the protectionism, you know, earn your votes

It was an april day, recession doomed

Average Joe was on the streets, trying to consume

New shoes for his feet, so he could get a job

Had to pay his bills, didn’t wanna be a slob

But the shoes weren’t cheap due to custom feees

The EU was protecting its industries

Now they were gonna hook up, with the leader peeps

London town was about to host the G20

Sarkozy is pressed by anger in Paris

some unions want to strike, so he said, let’s do this

Let’s regulate hard, let’s agree to be tough

let’s point fingers and tell all the markets they suck

Ms Merkel she agreed, and she threatened to leave

unless some serious regulating really was achieved

she said this crisis really needs a politician’s touch

if we fail we can always call it rotten luck

Now, here´s Barack, my ideas are swell,

I flew all the way to Europe, just to tell

the summit crew to stimulate

but the damn Europe folks just wanna regulate

The third world wants us to chill out, let the markets be

Let them export things to us and grow financially

We gotta stop’em real quick, before all jobs are gone

When the voters lose their jobs then our careers are done
